ILA and USMX Reach Tentative Contract Agreement
2025-01-09

Dear Valued Customer,

This message is to inform you that the International Longhsoremen's Association (ILA) and the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) have reached a tentative agreement on a new six-year master contract, preventing a strike from shutting down all U.S. East and Gulf Coast ports.

While this is welcome news, we want to caution you that the union still needs to vote on and ratify the new contract before it becomes official. Both parties have agreed to continue operating under the current contract until the new deal is ratified.

We will let you know if anything changes. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to your logistics advisor if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

OEC Group
