You’re receiving this notice to inform you that the tariffs on imports from Canada that were scheduled to take effect at 12:01 A.M. on Tuesday, Feb. 4, have been postponed by 30 days after a meeting between President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau. 

 

 

The tariff pause comes with a promise from the Canadian government to invest in border security, appoint a “Fentanyl Czar,” and join the United States in listing drug cartels as terrorist groups.
